OUR STORY

My name is Elli, and I'm the owner and operator of Remy's Way as well as a member of the International Association of Canine Professionals (IACP).

We provide high-quality and reliable dog training and day camp services. We are passionate about animals and dedicated to ensuring your dogs receive the best possible care. From exercise to basic training to personalized training plans, with a focus on leash manners and basic obedience, we've got you covered.  We believe in training methods that integrate tools into reward based training. This means we fit the tools we train with to the dog and don't use a one size fits all approach. Some of the tools we might use are slip leashes, martingale or prong collars, ecollars, and more! Thank you for entrusting us with your furry family members!

Who is Remy?

Remy is the dog who started it all for me. She's a German Shepherd mix I got from a local shelter at about 6 months old. She had been returned previously for having too much energy. I had previously owned dogs, but Remy was the dog I wanted to do more with. When I was searching for her, I knew I wanted a dog who could do anything I asked of them. She came barreling into the room at the shelter full of energy and happy to see anyone and I knew she had to be mine.

Since then, she has taught me more about dog behavior and what my style of training is more than I could've ever imagined. We hike almost every day together and are starting our journey to competing in obedience trials this year.

Remy is my trusty companion who helps teach dogs neutrality and sets a good example for other dogs on our pack walks/hikes and during training lessons.

I'm proud of the work we've done to be able to help other owners and their pets live better lives together and truly understand each other. I'm excited to see where this journey takes us.

Sassy

Sassy is our little helper. She's a schnauzer mix who came to my family as a 9 month old puppy. Since then she quickly learned how to be the best helper to other dogs and owners alike. She's never met a stranger and is always happy to come along to help a new friend learn all the fun things she knows. She's also going to be trialing in barn hunt this coming year!
